I'm selling my Marrs Resonator Simulator. In great condition. Rosewood mica finish. These are pretty rare, I don't think he made very many of these. Hardshell case included. $850 + shipping.
For inquiries, please call 615-779-8773.
Thanks

I've got one of those. Mine's in black.
Please don't think that I'm poking my nose into your sale but your RSG looks incomplete to me.
From your pictures it seems to me that your 'resonator' cat food can is missing and that your bridge is too long.
I bought mine as a fixer-upper and emailed the late Mr. Duane Marrs some pictures of what I had and asked his advice.
He very kindly responded with full details of what was needed.
Your bridge needs to be slightly less length than the slot underneath it. The bridge needs to sit within the slot. You'll need a small size cat food can (empty), and a small piece of aluminium strip slightly longer than the width of the can just under half an inch wide.
Assembly is simple. Remove the bottom cover plate and insert cat food can, bottom upwards. Carefully place aluminium strip across can bottom, not touching the corrugations on the can, from edge to edge, level with the slot. Place bridge, which should have a flat section, on the aluminium strip. String tension keeps everything in place.
Tuned to GBDGBD it produces a great sound.
I hope this helps. |

I am taking this off of the forum for now until I can set the guitar back up the way it's supposed to be.
Thanks. |
