Anyone have any info on these? pics of changer and under carriage. I am told that changer was similar to the showbud permanant or fingertip? _________________ WILCOX SD10 (love the white mica)

The Miller guitar has a similar setup to the Sho~Bud Permanent...very much the same. Actually, it's the same as the MSA Sidekick. The Simmons guitars are a variation as well. Old Marlens too. But the Perm and Miller and MSA are not too far frome one another. I've worked on a couple of Millers and a Sidekick, exactly the same thought-process. Would love to have a Miller...or Permanent! _________________ RICK ABBOTT

There is a post in the Forum archives from Michael Lee Allen on the Miller product line that might be worth your while to check out.

I "still" play mine after owning less than two years. After rebuilding it for cosmetic upgrade and added KLs, it's the only PSG I've ever owned. Played "Always, Patsy Cline" on it last November.

David,
My undercarriage and changer look just like the photos Bob posted, except that I had to fabricate some homemade parts for the new KLs I added. I made bellcranks from Al bar stock and shaft hangers from a HMWP cutting board I stole from the kitchen. Cross shafts are 5/16 dia. brass (couldn't readily find steel in that size) and KLs were scrounged from Ebay and a forum member. No two of the four KLs actually match. One is the original Miller, and one is an Emmons. The pic shows a raw casting, one of two that I bought.
