Aloha all,
Well to make a long story short, I dropped my old RR bar on a ceramic tile floor and chipped a small place on the nose. Boy was I ticked off. Then a small light came on in the back of my mind.
I cut off the loose piece, and applied a drop of super glue, does not need to be a special type, but locktite products seem the best to me.THen before it sets up, add a short spray of Locktite #712primer, and stand back. It hardens very fast and then can be sanded with fine paper, Polish until very shiney, try it , you'll like it.

Cool

I like Loctite products also ....

I use Loctite 392 structural adhesive w/ 7380 activator to hold my magnet arrays together ... It's about the only thing I have found that works well when dealing with that kinda repulsion ... Winking

Phil, I have a question for you.I have a Red Raja bar that I bought a few years ago. I like to use it because I have problems gripping most bars. This one is a whole lot easier to hold, but the powder coating has about all worn off.Do you think this solution would work to pretty much recoat the whole bar, or is it just a patching remedy?
I have tried to locate another RR bar, but I guess they aren't made anymore.

I don't think a coating of cyanoacrylate will do well over the whole piece.

I have used Acraglas to coat the edge of my steel flatties ... That worked well ..

But the whole bar ???

Look for a local powder coater .. They could redo it ... And recommend a hard powder ... Lots of variations these days.

Or ...

I highly recommend the Tribotone bars .... Once I got mine ( well, I have 4 Winking ) ... I haven't used my red Rajahs or Black Phoenix since ..

They are wonderful to hold !!!

What Rick said about the Tribotones being good to hold- I had a Rajah, but of course it got chipped in a hurry. Tribotones are amazing.

Thanks Bob and Rick. I have been considering getting a Tribotone, but its a bit pricey. What the heck,if it's half as good as everyone says it is, it will be worth it.
