Can someone tell how to play diminished and half diminished cords on the E9 pedal steel?

Diminished can be played in the regular grips (10-8-6, 8-6-5, etc..) with the E raised. If you want to play C dim then you can play on the 7th fret with the E raised and its a C dim, among other things.
Or another way in AB position you can go above the fret of the chord you are on with the same E raised and that will work. 4th fret, E raised for an "AB position" C dim chord.

Half diminished can be played by AB down with E lowered using any combo of strings 8-7-6-5-4-3
The root can be thought of like open position up one fret. For example For an F# half diminished chord you can play the 3rd fret etc....
