What---do you check my rehearsal schedule before you book these? Jeez. But then again, if'n I wasn't out rehearsin', I wouldn't be allowed out on a school night. Have fun.

Ahhh, Jon... this is where the fine art of subterfuge might be effective; you say you are going to "rehearsal" (wink, wink), but you really come to the Rodeo Bar and hang out...

Cool Howard... hope you can make it!

Just found out our line-up will be enhanced byy the presence of Drew Glackin (multi instrumentalist about town) and Doug Derryberry (Keys,Guitar, Mando) our producer on the first three LTH cd's who plays guitar with Bruce Hornsby.

The buffalo head will be crowded!

Dave, great to see Last Train Home and meeting up with you once again. I enjoyed your playing. You have the right accents at the right time. Your ideas and phrasing on the U12 are are not "stock" and that keeps it interesting.

The country rockin' ballad singin' music they play (and play well) is toe tappin' exciting.

An added bonus was Drew Glacken sitting in. Those who are in the area and haven't heard Drew, well, you need to do that.

Over at No Peddlers, many of us are so into the latest or oldest steel, how many we have, or jump around from one to another. Drew has carved his own way with his 6 string Magnatone. He has his own style and what he gets out of that 6 string MOT lap is really something.

Anyhow, well worth getting in late to work this morning...

Thanks Howard...it was good to chat with you, thanks for coming out!
Drew G is a fine fellow and a unique musical personality; trading licks with him is always a pleasure, as is just sitting back and letting him take over the steel duties for a while- "I'm so Lonesome I could cry" was a standout last night.
I think you left before the highlight of the evening though- Doug Derryberry took a "singing guitar" solo (a la Geo Benson) from H-E-L-L that cracked everybody up... I almost fell off my pack-a-seat...

On to the Streets of Baltimore...
