Those of you folks who have't seen Joe are missing out, not to mention the other fine players that will be there.

HEy Dan, did you pack your bags or did your wife. If the wife packs the bags, it doesn't mean, "Hurry up there's a steel show to go to."It usually means,"call your lawyer and sleep with that darn steel guitar."

Donnie and I went to a steel show in Donelson, TN back in October. There were lots of great players there. I had never heard of Joe Wright but I'll never forget him now. From the time he stepped on the stage to the time he left the stage, I was mesmerized. He is a fantastic player and an entertainer besides. He made me laugh till my sides hurt and some of his music brought tears to my eyes. If you have never seen Joe Wright, I encourage you to go to this show. Those of you who have seen Joe Wright need no encouragement, you'll be there.
Sheila

Hey Ron I found out later that Denns still has that thong in his seat and I believe that probably done it for me. I hoping that your band will be there also. Hopefully I will be there in good shape.

Sorry Roger, I've gotten used to it. It has an old chocolate peanut cluster center in it from 5yrs ago. I don't really want to wash it. It has sentimental value. And my name embroidered on it. I'll bet you had an adverse reaction to the peanut cluster?

We went to Dallas this year & got to hear and see the GREAT Hal Rugg play on stage with John Hughey, Randy Beavers and Paul Franklin. It was a set to remember for sure! They were awesome!!! Joe Wright was the last to play on the Sat. night show..........he had a standing ovation and was absolutely "Spectacular"! Joe, is a "Showman" who is among the very "TOP" artists! His talent for entertaining, and musicianship on the Steelguitar are a "rare" gift to say the least!! Anyone in attendance at this show WILL LOVE HIM!

Had the pleasure of seeing Joe Wright in Indy last Sun and WOW. Great show! Bobby Duncan, Jim Willis and I are planning on making the show in Quad Cities. Does anyone have a schedule for this one? If it has been posted I must have missed it. We all have to be back in Central Illinois to play that night but would like to get an idea of who is playing when. Also great chance to meet some of you guys. Looking forward to it.

Yep, I'll be there. Really lookin forward to it. It'll be nice to be back in the Q.C., even if it's just for a day. Hope none of my ex's from over there show up at the show.
Mike Webb is gonna meet me and Rich at the show, and we're all pretty excited about it. Wish we could stay all day, but Rich has to get back for a gig Saturday night. (Working musicians)
See ya'll there.
BD

We won't have a booth set up, (not enuf time), but if anyone wants a CISGA T-Shirt, we MAY have a few with us.

Hey Lefty-
If we can find a place to plug in my roaster, we're going to have Taco Soup-
you have a special invitation to join us after the show-(it'll be at the hotel)- if you can't get uot of it, bring Detwiller-(just kiddin' Denny- you'd better show up)!
Of course EVERY-BODY in the house band, and Joe, (who joined us last year in Tulsa),so he knows how much fun these things can be, are welcome. When the soup's gone, the party is over!
If you're wondering about Taco soup, E-Mail Laney & Russ Hicks, they will tell you!
See y'all this week-end!!!
