For sale is a Canopus S8 console steel. It comes with case, 4 legs, leg bag, original cord, and case key. The guitar is very heavy for a non pedal. On my digital bathroom scale, it weighs 30.0 lbs (just one pound less than my Sierra lap steel in case). The little side compartment in the case, next to where the legs go - has come loose. See top right corner of 1st and 2nd pic (next to legs), and the same spot in last pic.

Canopus guitar are very popular with many Hawaiian players. They are extremely high quality, and can be very expensive. They can sell for upwards of $1400 new.

$950 gets it shipped anywhere in the CONUS.

Holding out for a cash sale for now, but could possibly be interested in a D8, T8 or PSG w/ 3 & 5 (Emmons set up) later, if it doesn't sell.
