This was completely rebuilt by ed Fulawka about 5-6 years ago (including new changer )
It used To be a D10 from the 70s and was converted to SD 10 with a pad

I thought fulawka guitars were pretty prized. Who converted this? _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112 |

Ed converted. There's nobody else that can do it; believe me.
Yes the Fulawka is the "Rolls Royce" of steel guitars.
Here'a very grainy pic of it...but please get Michael to send you proper pics.

Hello, Chris.
A Fulawka steel has all the nice high end sounds with an incredible mid range growl that cuts through the mix just like the high notes do. I hope that makes some sense, but that's what my Fulawka sounds like.

in all honestly im not trying to do a highest offer thing, its more of a matter of finding out what this thing is worth . meaning what would people be willing to pay (to make it simple ifs its in the $2000 area id keep it , if its quite a bit more i may sell it . The only used fulawka I've seen on the forum was a D10 and it went for 6500 and sold within minutes,, any input would be appreciated for this..
(I do have a new fulawka D-10 on order myself and if it wasn't for that I wouldn't even consider selling this )
Hope everyone understands where I'm at with this _________________ Emmons Wraparounds and cut tails, Zum D10, Blantons , Fulawkas , Franklin D10, Sho Bud Permanents and Fingertips,Jacksons and Telecasters |

No, I don't understand.
This is a buy and sell section, so put your asking price on it if you want to sell.

Input granted:
6500.00 is out of the question.
In the real world, ie this forum, you're looking at 3000.00 TOPS!
If that much. Consider the economy, and past sales.
Perhaps a decision on whether you really want to sell is in order.
So post your price and see what happens!

I think in Michael's mind, the price is around 3000$ and not 2000, that's why he mention and compare with a D10 in good conditions. But recently i've seen a 70's Fulawka to Al Brisco'site, (wich is sold now) priced at 1800$ (or something like that). The guitar was relatively basic in conception and less advanced technically .
If you consider Ed's work and refurbishment.
My opininion is:
2800 is low but not bad, 3000 is correct, and 3200 is a good buisness for seller)
(and 2700 is my price.... hu hu hu) _________________ Mullen G2 SD10/Schild SD10/Nash400/lemay mod/Emminence neo speaker/Brad Sarno "tonic preamp"/Strymon bluesky/Telonics volume/Tonealigner pickup/ http://www.pedalsteel.fr |

If Ed replaced the changer 6-7 years ago it's basically like new. I wouldn't presume to suggest an asking price, but a new Fulawka SD10 is $3750. Ed is a very robust and healthy man in his early eighties. Last I heard his waiting list for a new guitar is 5+ years.
Just my 2 cents..... |
