Dear Friends,

The Albany NY area has shown no mercy for country bands these past years. Especially with the economy being so messed up and restrictions on drinking and driving. People just dont go out the way the use to anymore. Country bands are thinning out in these parts. The last band I was in dissolved in Sept. 2011. I havent been doing much at all and miss music.
So lately I have decided to put together a country Jam & Open mic where everyone is in a relaxed atmosphere. I call it the "Country Posse" we play and promote country music around the albany area and surrounding towns. The music is all free to the bars we play in...oh and they really like that but the catch 22 is we only do it on Sunday afternoons! not to step on anyones paid gigs.
I welcome any musician or vocalist to come down and enjoy yourself with us.
Our 1st Sunday afternoon is Jan 29 4 to 7 pm @ The Milestone restaurant and Bar Glenmont ny.
