I find myself with one too many pac a seats and one too many volume pedals. For sale is an over 30 year old Sho-Bud pac a seat I have owned since it was new. The “Sho-Bud” logo is long gone and it has normal wear and tear. All the rivets for the hinges have been replaced with stainless steel hardware and the seat is tight and in very good shape functionally. I did raise the seat height from the original approx. 19.5” to approx. 20” with wooden spacers that you can see in the photo of the underside. I had to use 1/2” longer bolts and I will include the original bolts so that it can be converted back to the lower seat height if that will work better for you. One side of the clip that retains the legs underneath is long gone as well but it still holds just fine! I hope you can see the good, the bad, & the ugly from these pics. This seat has successfully kept my butt from hitting bandstand for over 30 years and has many good years of service left for someone.

Also up for sale is a Carter volume pedal. This is a basic pot type pedal and tested out to be clean sounding and working properly this afternoon. I originally bought this pedal as a backup but since I find myself with 3 volume pedals this one can go. Note that this is the lowest “low profile” pedal I have ever seen. It sits approx. 1/8” to 3/16” lower than my Hilton low profile pedal in both the full off and full on positions. I played with it a few times when I first got it and found it easy to acclimate to and it works about as well as any pot pedal I have used as far as overall smoothness goes. A very simple, straight forward, string driven pot pedal. Looks to be the original pot in there.
If a newby or budget minded player needs both pieces I will sell them for $140.00 shipped in the lower 48. I will, of course, ship the volume pedal packed inside the seat. If no one bites on this as a combo in the next week or so I will probably break them up.
