I'll be playing with Greater Pacific at the NAMM convention in Anaheim on Saturday 1/21/12. We're playing the Hilton Anaheim Starbucks Acoustic stage at 10am.

Oooo...10am is early to get there from LA, but I'll try. In 3 years I've only spotted one pedal steel at NAMM.

John - Mike Perlowin forwarded me an email and it seems you're playing every Thursday within stumbling distance of my house. I'm gonna catch you one of those nights.

Great, do come visit, John!

Sorry I wasn't able to make your recent Santa Ana gig, stuff came up.

The gig's pretty low key, but a lot of fun.

I didn't see any this year.

Kevin, where in L.A. are you? I'm just outside of Glendale, 2 very short blocks from the city limits.

I tried to make it, and would have except for car troubles. Sorry!

Mike, I didn't see any (although I tried the duesenberg lap steel with the palm levers which was cool), but I did run into a forum member in the Fender room. I think we were both there looking for B Bender tele's (which they didn't bring). I'm in Mid City LA (La Brea0...but will probably be moving closer to you in the coming months (Echo Park/Mt. Washington areas).

Hey Kevin - that was me you met. I didn't see the Duesenberg steel. The only lap steels I saw was the Aloha. I did get to talk with Sterling and Brian Ball and swap stories about Ernie.

Hope to see you again.

Hey John,

Well it was great chatting with you! The Duesenberg steel wasn't on display, but I asked them if they happened to have one with them and they did in it's case. I was pleasantly surprised at how usable the levers were!
