According to Gruhn's, the Console 780 model was made from 1961-1970 and were not highly regarded. It's true that Sho-Bud, Fender and Emmons had more modern mechanisms, but this is a fine guitar nonetheless. It stays in tune and plays well. I'm asking $1500 plus shipping for it.

The guitar was restored by Tom Bradshaw a few years ago. One of the pedal rods isn't original, and the tone control doesn't work right (needs replacement, in my opinion). The oddest thing is that it's very short - only 22.5" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet.

Current copedent is C6th, but it's very easy to change. Has a 25" scale. Lots of fun to play. Original case included.
