For some reason Lame will not open on my laptop. I'm running windows 7. It downloads fine, and goes through the setup process as if it's installing, but when I try to export in audacity, it's nowhere to be found. (actually it's in my dowload file, uninstalled).
Is there another way to convertaudacity recordings to mp3? |

There are a lot of MP3 conversion programs. Save the Audacity as a wav file. Then use one of the conversion programs to convert to MP3.
The free VLC media player will do this.

This is probably posted too late to help, but I had the same problem. However, the problem was me. I'd download LAME, and then open the file. "DON'T Open it" Leave it just the way it is, (in it's Zipped or other compressed form) "Audacity won't recognize it if it's opened first"
Then let Audacity load the file, and your problem will be solved.
Hope this post isn't to late to be of help to someone..... Don |
