Now that some of the Snowbirds have left after Easter we should still have a good turnout.
So come and join us for some food and picking.

Each month I am surprised at the variety of equipment owned by our various members.
All the famous brands of pedal steels are represented and the amps and rack systems
are also diverse.
But the bottom line is that everyone gets to pick and have a good time.

I encourage all of you vacationing in the Central Florida area to stop in and see these guys. They have a great little Steel Guitar Club and really make you feel welcome. I can't wait to go back!

This will be our first meeting since many of our "snowbird" steelers have returned to the
North.
We will miss them, but there are many members who live down here all year, so we'll still have a really good jam.

I've had several inquires about the club during the summer. As we have in the past, we will have monthly club meetings/jams during the summer months.
Depending on the turnout we may also be able to go back our old format of allowing some (limited) singers, etc. We had stopped that temporarily due to the large number of steelers that were attending in the winter months.
I also think it's appropriate to have a moment of silence in recognition of Jerry Byrd at the meeting. |

Jack, you will have to bring a letter from your "parents" for missing the jams. Can't take your word for it.
