These are great pictures Bill. Barbara and I were set to come up but as luck would have it something came up and we were side tracked. What a great line-up of players. The show was un-doubtably super. We'll be there in July if The Good Lord's willing.
Best wishes from down here in Texas.

Thanks Roy, we sure would have enjoyed having you and of course looking forward to you and Barb in July, Lord willing. A word of warning ; Dino was bragging a little about how much he could eat if Barbara was buying -- |

My apologies for not making the show. We left the house in plenty time to get there, but I sure didn't figure on the transmission going out in my truck. We made it to Yellville before breaking down. 1st time to be left on the side of the rode in about 25 years. Sure not complaining about that, but I would have much rather been playing steel than paying a wrecker to haul us back home! _________________ Robby

Robby, I know the feeling of the transmission going out on the way to Branson. One time we went to Branson several years ago and got to the 248 exit and my car would not go any farther. So we sat there about 15 minutes and my wife said, "Jerry, why don't you start it up and maybe it will work"! So I started it and put it in gear and Lo and Behold! it began to move forward and we got across the 65 bridge and turned into Compton, coasted down the hill to the Community Center, pulled into the parking lot and just before I got to the space to park, the car quit and some great friends pushed me into a parking spot. The only thing I could do was to jam for 4 hours and then I called a tow truck and he pulled us home.
And Bill, thanks so much again for all the pictures that bring back that wonderful weekend!! Did you get pictures on Sunday of the 11 steels set up for the jam??? _________________ Jerry and Venda |

Thank you so much for thinking to include the names of the players with the pictures. It really bugs me when someone posts pictures of an event and doesn't tell who the picture is of. It's nice to put a face to name on here.
I sure would have liked to have been there. I wish they would do something like this out here.
Good to see Jeanie Kendall still at it. I have always loved her voice. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . @Richard...I posted some names to my pics but not all because I wasnt sure of the names of some nor was I really sure how to do it on here though I got it figured out.
I agree with you..its nice to be able to place a name with the photo but its not always possible.
THANKS for your understanding. _________________ Chad Jones
