Sat and Sunday I Used My Furlong CB 12 Powered Cab,Combo amp with Sarno Tube Preamp, With My 68 Fender Twin , Wow What a Sound! I Used a Ground Lift On The Twin and Had No Problems with the 60 cycle Hum. The Twin Is Heavey But it was well worth the Extra Work! Randy Gilliam. Very Happy

Randy good idea. A tube amp for tone and solid state together for a band with drums. I use a AB box to combine the two. With no drums or rehersal I can use a Deluxe Reverb. Don't tell anyone Some of those Fender amps are getting too expensive.

Great for a house band gig or a tough guy like Randy.
I used a Session and Twin for awhile and the two amps seem to balance out each other.
I like it for guitar also with a Twin and a Deluxe.
Sure do like the 67 Twin you sold me!
Thanks

HI Randy

I have done the same thing and I cant agree with you more as to the "terrific" combination.

I used a Fender Vibrosonic and a Furlong / Sarno 15" combo rig together a few times at a gig in Dickson TN. It was an absolutely terrific sound.
I just used the two "outs" from a hardwire delay and reverb unit to split to the two amps.

Please note though that it was a super easy "in and out" place to play. My spot on the stage was 8 feet from the load in door. Smile

I have always been a "fanatic" when it comes to my equipment. My steel and amps never stayed at any of the clubs I played. The seat, volume pedal and other equipment may have but not the main equipment.
