Brenda Anne Duncan, of Jackson, GA, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1945 in San Antonio, TX to the late Mary McKee. She retired from Northwest/Delta following 35 yrs of service and attended Macedonia Baptist Church, was member of the Red Hat Society, and a Shrine Divan Lady. She enjoyed singing, music, people, and spending time with her family.
Anne is survived by her husband, Chip Duncan, of Jackson; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Missy Sullenberger, of Riverdale, Ann Sorrow, of Loganville, Jan and Chris Childers, of Monroe; one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Tammi Sullenberger, of Fayetteville; 7 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Sharon Brown, of Riverdale; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Marie McKee, of Carollton; several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia.
Funeral services for Anne Duncan will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Ed Hoard officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Al Sihah Shrine Center, 222 Mecca Drive, Macon, GA 31205. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at www.sherrellfh.com

We are so saddened by this news, and pray for Chip and his family. Ann and Chip were a great couple. I always marveled at the way Chip looked at Ann when she was singing. Here's a picture I took of them at one of the GaSGA shows.

We'll miss Ann's sweet smile and wonderful personality!
