Topic: Carter Starter - F knee lever question |

Hi:
When I attempt to roll my ankle from the AB pedal to engage the A pedal and F lever I find that I cannot clear the B pedal without moving and repositing my foot from the B pedal.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
How can I solve this problem? |

Adjust the individual heights of the pedals to where you roll on and off them cleanly.

I could never fit comfortably under a Carter Starter.
I raised the legs, moved the knee levers and moved the pedals, then changed the pick-up.
Eventually I gave up and got myself a real pedal steel.  |

| Richard offers you good advice. Many players set the B pedal a little lower than the A and C. Also, you could change the stop on the F lever allowing your knee to move a bit farther to the left. This will add "clearance" for the B lever. |

John... Here are the pics I told you I would take.
Keep in mind, I play the "Day" setup and my pedals go CBA instead of ABC and I have my "Franklin Pedal" on pedal 1 (I don't know why I call it a Franklin pedal. It sure doesn't make me sound like him  )
E9th pedals #2=C #3=B #4=A
I would imagine that using the Emmons setup, the pedals might llok like this too. I would want thhe A pedal (#1) to be higher than B and that higher than C
