I gather nobody is making any replacement pickups for this guitar right now, though Lollar has done some in the past. I don't care about what it looks like, my 50's D-16 is ugly enough anyway! Any ideas for a pickup (maybe a blade?) that could replace the original horseshoe without damaging the body of the guitar??

Thanks-
David

P.S. if someone could renovate one of the original pickups (rewind, maybe remagnetize, etc.) that would work too.

Give Jason Lollar a call. I believe he is still into horseshoe pickups, at least enough to fix you up, like a re-wind etc...
