Im selling one amp I really dont want to sell, but taxes are due, and I thought I would let you guys here know before the bay, as this one is special.
Started life as a 56/57 Tweed Bassman 5e6, Roy Blankenship turned it into a 57 Twin.
He basically re-did the tone stack to twin specs, and loaded a new MM Axion 1957 Twin tone clone output tranny, recapped, and changes out a few pots.
The amp is in tip top road shape and needs nothing. The twin cab was made by Larry Rodgers and is as good as it gets. I prefer the smaller wide panel 2x12 look. You wont belive the tones of this amp.Comes in a road case, but the inside foam needs to be redone, as its dried out and not really great. Anyways I'll let the pics do the talking. This amp kills tonally and will work for any gig, small to large, and not overly heavy to carry. Lastly the chrome panel is well worn, and has a bit or rust/ wear from years on the road, and the speakers are newer, but top of the line Jensen Alnico 5 p12n. They were 400 dollars alone a few years back, Anyways if it grabs you. $2995.00 shipped. This amp is as good as it gets. I almost forgot, Its a dual rectifier model too (rare)..
