This has got to be one of my favorite steel intros/breaks. Every time I hear it my brain short circuits. I have no clue how to play it. Enjoy. |

Great stuff. I think my fave is his intro/solo on Loretta's "One's on the Way". _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Great intro/break ...and so typical Hal.
Richard, That one's my favorite too. I met Hal once, at Jeff Newman's school, and I asked Hal to play One's on the Way. Hal tore into that intro rapid-fire. All of us were standing around with our mouths open. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Hello Brett,
thanks for pointing us to this beautiful song!
Great classic steel sound and playing, just how we like it....
I took a moment to listen closely and tabbed the intro for you.
Now your brain is shortcut-safe when you put the record on
Try and enjoy!
Merry Christmas
