Mike want's to try to plan a trip to this years Dallas S.G.Convention (2012) in March.

Well, I was in hopes that someone could post some Information about the Steel Guitar Convention in Dallas (Irving ?) in March. Mike Day was asking me and I sent him here, hoping I wouldn't get some of the Information about the show wrong.

Isn't it the second weekend in March, starting on Thursday, March 8th? {What goes on, on that day/night? .... Any Jam sessions? What time does things get poppin'?} and goes on till Sunday, the 11th? Thanks, Chuck

I've added Dallas to the title. People don't open Event Announcement posts without a location in the title. See http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=164631

This is a great show-just the right size, lots of vendors, a nonpedal room that gets better every year,
and a friendly vibe. I'm missing it for the first time in several years, and I'm not pleased to have to do so.
