ZOOM G3 Direct Recorded. Full Band (rockin waylon'ish tune)

Ive seen a few people asking what the Zoom G3 sounds like, so far its my favorite budget processor EVER! I had an Axe-FX & I honestly like fiddling with the Zoom better.

this is an original country tune I wrote. (More of a rock'ish waylon style tune)

2nd solo was a Zoom G3 recorded direct with no outside processing. 1st solo was a NOC3 Pure Drive into an Epiphone Triggerman combo.

Hi Anthony, I really like your band and the kind of music you play. I'm not sure whether this is what you wanted to hear Smile

but I liked the sound of the G3 much more than the mic'ed amp. With that being said I am not saying the mic'ed amp sounded bad I just think I like the sound of the G3 better. The G3 had more clarity and punch but still sounded like a mic'ed amp, but then of course it might just have been I liked the distortion sound better on the G3. Anyway thanks or the demo of the G3 and keep up the good pickin!!

Actually, Im happy to hear the G3 sounded better to you, because its a big time saver over experimenting with so many different rooms/amps/mics & mic positions.

Its the 1st clip I've ever done with the G3 so I was pretty happy
