These do not come for sale very often, but I am clearing out some stuff.
This is a Sho-Bud Compactra. Evans made these for Sho-Bud in 1960s. I have beentold that the years were 1963 to 1969. They are ALL TUBE amplifiers with huge transformers. These are nicer than Twin Reverbs, in my opinion, for either steel or guitar.
The condition you can see -- the black covering has had its bumps and snags over the years. The speaker is an Electrovoice 15BW and it sounds great.
Two channels, reverb -- well-voiced reverb -- 4/8/16 choices for speaker impedance, solid cabinet.
This is a nice amp. It is bigger than it needs to be. I do not know why they called them "Compactras."
The schematic is available from the Google machine.
The price is $550 plus shipping.
Thank you for looking.
