Ordinarily our pal Jody Sanders would make this report, but he's been under the weather, so allow me to help him out. Jody our thoughts and prayers are with you and you were duly missed today.

We had a fairly large crowd and a good turnout of musicians. On steel we had Craig Schmidt, Rittenberry D-10, Jim Saunders, Mullen G2, D-10, Mark Everson, Emmons D-12 and fiddle, Randy Boyd, Mullen G2, D-10, Jim Cross, Emmons D-10. Bobby Gondesen was our featured player on his Emmons D-10 and he did a great performance with a good song selection. The band included David Waters on lead guitar and vocals, Patty Phelps, piano and vocals, Billy Phelps, bass, drums, and vocals, Larry Schoppe, bass and vocals, Annie Everson, vocals, and James Harvey, on vocals. If I've forgatten anyone, it was unintentional. I believe Randy Boyd brought some gormet cookies that hit the spot. Patty kept the coffe pot going. And, of course thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for making the location available. Our next meeting will be in February and will feature the amazing Dale Thomas from Iowa. We will skip January to celebrate New Years. Happy holidays to everyone.

We had a good turnout for the meeting Sunday. Thanks to Billy and Patty for their continued efforts to keep steel guitar music rolling! We missed having "The Boss" Jody Sanders there to keep us in line, but pray that he'll be back soon. Maybe in February, Jody C or Bobby B will be able to come.
