Some of you folks from the Lima, OH area may remember a player named Paul Trame. Paul played on the Renfro Valley Barn Dance back in the old, old days. He played a little 6 string Oahu on a stand, and believe me he played it. He was one of my first inspirations as a kid. He played all the Jerry Byrd things I wanted to learn, back then. Paul was 91 yrs old. He will be sadly missed. I'm losing all my heroes.

Sorry to hear about Paul,Bob. He was a very good player! I heard him play Faded Love at a Lee Watson Heartathon and it blew me away. The last time I seen him was at the Sugar Street Inn a long time ago.
