Excellent condition, 14-1/4" lower bout, sunburst finish, painted mahogany grain on laminate body, body bound top and back, 12-fret square mahogany neck with solid peghead, unbound rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, 19 frets, 1-13/16" nut width, 25" scale, dual screen holes, no-holes in soundwell, original sand cast long-leg spider and recent spun Beard cone installed (also will include original aluminum stamped lug cone), coverplate with 4 sets of 8 rectangular soundholes (some very light pitting of nickel plating under the strings ), original stamped tailpiece has a minor crack and was recently replaced with a replica from Paul Beard, original Kluson open 3-in-a-line tuners with multi-colored plastic buttons, Dobro decal on headstock, bone nut, 3-1/2" to 3-3/4" body depth, with OSSC (wine plush lining) Plays very well, set up with maple saddles with ebony caps. I have what I believe is the original sales receipt dated Nov. 23, 1942 as well as the owner’s lesson record book. SN:385
