Is there a C6 cord chart in the same format as the Mel Bay E9 chord chart. I have one like Trap Truly's, but it would be a lot easier for me to learn, if I had a simple chart like Mel Bay's E9 chart. Thanks

Terry,
I don't know how this compares to the E9 Chart from Mel Bay, but The C6 Chord Dictionary by Neil Flanz is the best I've found as far as what it takes to put together any chord you could ask for. A regular treaure trove of knowledge for chords on the lower neck. Here is a link to the web site.

I am new at this and a bit naive. Does this dictionary for c6th chords the same as what I might want for playing c6th on a non pedal guitar?

Appreciate your expertise.

James

Thanks Keith, but Neil don't give any examples of what the chart looks like. The Mel Bay, chart has a row of boxes, each box represents a chord and shows each string, and fret and which pedals/knee levers are used to get a particular chord. That's really what I'm lookin for. Thanks again

Terry,
I visited with Scotty a while back about a C6th chord chart like he made for E9th and he said that he couldn't get Mel Bay to publish one.

James, the Flanz dictionary will do you almost no good at all on a non-pedal instrument.

Thanks Erv. I reckon I'll have to wait till Patricia Wammock(don't think that's her last name, but kinda-sorta similar) Smile gets through with her C6 chart.
