Most of you guys have probably seen this but it must be quite old. I just found it in a drawer so I thought I'd share it.

Looks like a small part of Erv Niehaus' collection.
A very small part... _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

The inside front cover was pretty cool, too.

....not to mention that sweet Emmons/Standel amp.....
had one, wish Id kept it, want another one.
Herb, check out that green muck in front of the shoreline in the pic that Skip posted....think there might be a bass or 3 lurking about in there? |

I see from the link that Lee provided that this ground has been covered before.
Never mind - no harm done. I used to enjoy poking around in that gloomy mausoleum-like basement in Burlignton where there were piles of unused lacquer bodies. Any left, I wonder? _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

You cracked me up this morning! Great minds think alike!
Not only did I feel the same about the Standel/Emmons amp, ... had one, want it back..., but I was thinking about how there had to be some fine bass underneath that glop in the back of the cove, and wanting to fish it with some topwater frog baits. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

I might be wrong, but I heard Ron Lashley Sr liked to bass fish. _________________ Emmons S10, p/p, Nashville 112, Zion 50 tele style guitar, Gibson LP Classic w/Vox AC30, Fender Deluxe De Ville and a Rawdon-Hall classical |

What year was those postcards? It'd be nice if Emmons would do some more one day. _________________ "Hotrod"

The catalog was from '75. I've never seen or played thru one of those Emmons amps before, but if you guys say they were happening, well, that's good enough for me.
I've always wondered what became of that blonde laq D10 with the wood necks and rope inlay.
And let's see...you guys were thinking about using some topwater frog baits, catching some bass, getting yourselves some rice and wasabi paste and having a sushifest right there by the pond, right?
Now that's country... |

Sushi? You don't waste a nice bass fillet on sushi!
Go down to the local bait stand and get a bucket of minnows.
Bait...Sushi...same thing. |

Jay; just as I suspected
Herb, I always liked the old Paw-Paw brand, grey wooden mouse spin casting bait w/the 2 little treble hooks. Mine has more teeth marks on it than a puppy's chew toy, and the grey paint has long since dissappeared, leaving it a real nice brownish color which any bass Ive since been acquainted with always found most pleasing........gotta love green muck. |
