Hey, it's your gig, but did you know that there are some pretty good pedal steelers over in Ireland? Richard Nelson in Drogheda, County Louth, is a forumite and a fine player.

Last time I worked with Stonewall was about 20 years ago at Peterborough Country music Festival..... We got along just fine! I would give it a go if it does`ent clash with the Nashville Nights Show Date wise???

As it turns out, I'll be coming to Ireland with Stonewall. I'm really looking forward to seeing the country that my ggg grandfather Moses Sweeney came from in 1753.
I also hope to see some of you guys there too.

Mike

Hi Robert & Mike,
are there any more details available?
Dates and venues.
It would be great to get some info.
Perhaps I will have a chance to fly over to
Ireland.

Thanks in advance,
Manfred

Hey you cat's in Ireland, you must get out and see Mike Sweeney play.
He is top shelf.

But Richard Nelson would have been a great choice too,
And my buddy John Davis, already did the gig too, once upon a time.

Thanks to all for the kind words and for asking about the itinerary. We had a rehearsal last night but no itinerary as yet. As soon as it is available either Bob Kramer or I will post it. I'm really looking forward to the trip and meeting many of you guys.

Mike well done on the gig . I will try to meet up with you somewhere along the way . I heard you in the Broken Spoke in the Ramada Trinity Lane about 10 years ago. You were hot then ,and from what I hear your even hotter now , so I look foreward to seeing you .Ther are plenty of Sweenys over here so you will be busy visiting I'm sure.

Manfred,

No, still no show dates as of yet. But as soon as I know I'll post them.
As far as c.d.'s go I'll be bringing some with me.
I hope that we get to go to Donegal as that's where my family tree started it's roots.
