Hello to all of you.I am looking to buy my first pedal steel.what do you guys think about the Carpsteel/Legend and the Simmons. I really want a rains Hartley .But I don't know if I can learn to play the pedal steel guitar. .......Thanks for any and all help...........Jerry

Certainly you can learn to play the pedal steel guitar, keep an eye on the steels for sale here on the forum and keep asking questions, you can find the right guitar at the right price and all the help you need making it work for you, welcome aboard!

David Hartley has tabbed a few songs, and you can find them on his website. I learn songs by using tablature. I believe that the tabs that he writes also match his copedent; if I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

The guitars you metioned are good guitars new or used, and They will make you want to play. You can always sell it if it don't work out
