I just put a new Pot in my pedal that I got from Steel Guitar Nash. and I'm getting a Schuss sound from it. Could it be that I have wired it wrong. Please take a look and let me know what you think? Thanks Billy

That looks right, Billy, but I would add a jumper between the two jacks' "sleeve" tabs to ensure a solid ground, what you are hearing may be due to a poor ground at the amp jack as it appears you are relying on the chassis to provide this connection.
What is the very fine line I see going up and to the left of the white wire where it is soldered to the amp jack? |

Yup, relying on the metal chassis to provide the ground for the amp jack is introducing the noise you mention, as the metal parts slide against each other when the pedal rotates there is a change in resistance between the guitar chassis and the jack ground which could make your "schushing" sound. A hard-wired connection tying the two jacks' grounds together should eliminate this problem.
Let us know if this does the trick |
