Wow, is THIS song early!!... this was recorded in the studio back when NRPS was little more than the Grateful Dead's country sidebar...
Jerry was Jerry on the steel.. making major use of the modest ability he had at the time.. the steel is primitive, very basic, but as always, fit like a glove, in perfect context, and very musical..
Enjoy this old gem, I sure did... bob

WOW. What a walk down memory lane. Those pics in the 2nd video, that was my favorite incarnation of that band. Torbert and Dryden holding down the rhythm section. I believe the recording was done before the pictures. Sounds like Hart or Kreutzman on drums, and maybe Lesh on bass.
Jerry with a ZB and a Sho~Bud Christmas Tree amp and possibly 2 of them. I can't tell what the second one is. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
