I just can't get the notes down to Messina's intro. I've been listening to the intro for about a week and still can't play it right. Is anyone willing to help me with the tab? Thanks in advance for any help! Dennis

Sounds like a job for Mickey Adams, he's an awesome tele picker, too. Just in case anyone forgot.

Dennis there is a primer for this song on youtube with Jim Messina shows the basics(sketchy)
I am assuming you want tabs for a six string-first drop both E's to D. Others don't, I haven't played this song in over 20 yrs! There is also other videos on you tube where you might pick up something.

Hey Dennis its not a real open G just the A tuned down to a G. Or at least that's what Rusty Young told me a few years ago.
