Hi.
My VP seems to be not so smooth as was before. Any suggestion?

Remove the panel from the bottom of the pedal and work it back and forth manually to observe if anything is binding, especially the string. |

Sometimes the pot is the culprit. Remove the string and see if it turns easily and then you might loosen the collar to see if it was rubbing on the shaft housing. |

You may have reached the end of the life of the pot. One of my pots developed a "hitch" in the movement right before the sound went to hell.
But David has the first step nailed.
Open her up and watch what happens _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
