I was listening to Rhonda Vincent sing "Beneath Still waters" on the country opera gathering. Rhonda sang beautifully but I was really taken by the steel ride. I never did get his name can anyone tell me Thx.

Well, could it have been Mike Johnson or Johnny Cox?

Mike Johnson is one of the best there ever was. And this show really lets him shine. My only complaint about I have about Mike is that he doesn't seem to age (like JD and Bobby Black). His wife is too pretty for a steel player (just kidding Mike). I wish I could get RFD TV. I really miss it.

Richard is so right. This show lets Mike Johnson shine. And it is true he does not seem to age. Yeah, his wife Joanie is pretty and she can play and sing as well. They are also grandparents.

They don't look old enough. Very Happy

They really are cute couple. And Joanie is great. What a team. Whoa!

Thx for the info. I knew I could get an answer from some real players. I am not a good player but i am a good listener. I love to hear a plater who can coax out sounds that that to me are inspiring.

My cable system does not have RFD TV either, I watch RFD online at the website www.rfdtv.com. They have live streaming TV and many great videos of past shows. You have to pay $60 a year. Worth it to me just to see the Marty Stuart show every week.
