There's been so many reincarnations of these amps I forget if this was the first model
made by Peavey or not but it's definitely the old model.
It has a 4 ohm JBL 15" speaker in it and is in great working order.
$375 plus UPS shipping

whats the serial number on the plate on the amp.. not the speaker

Gary, thats the JBL serial number .the plate on the back of the amp tells you what year

Mine is 5A 113625 purchased Sept 1976
looks identical. I think yours is 1976 2nd version

some early ones had the pv logo in the top left corner. were these the earliest and best, tom quinn?

Guess this Amp is getting to heavy for Tony to lug around. Hey Tony we are all getting older and need lighter equipment.I turned 75 this Past Sunday.Did you check out my new Steel Guitar.I posted on Steel players. My new Steel Guitar.
Anna and I are doing fine down here and hope you and Ann are doing fine also. See you the 4TH of July it will be two years that we have not been back to R.i.

Well I ended up trading the amp for a PA head...which I really don't need but might donate to my church.
Hi Sam...maybe we'll see you the 4th of July..who knows?
But I've "retired" from steel playing....getting more fun playing my Martin 6 string at parties, etc.
