it is 175 watts with the 10 inch cab, add another 10 inch and you have 300 watts. plenty loud enought for most gigs . the eq is a little like the 112 . As it is a bass amp there are no issues with the lower strings breaking up the sound. Total weight is 18 lbs.
When I bought it I took my steel along to see if it would handle the demands of the steel. to be honest the steel sounded great without any of my fx , my wife remarked what a warm smooth sound I was getting from the steel. While there a lady asked if she could try out an electric chello throught it and with a little tweaking she also bought one, she said that she was amazed at the tone she got from it. As yet I have not gig with it, but knowing what sound I used to get from my 112 in a non band setting for example at home I can't see any problems for the same good sound on stage.
The cab is ported at the back and has a tweeter at the front so a very clean sound.
at the back you have a aux in and headphones out, tuner output, fx loop , Full XLR Direct Out Interface
, Speakon® and 1⁄4” Speaker Outputs.
I have to say that the aux in is amazing , I used my tascam with some backing tracks and sounded like a hi-fi as the eq do not effect the aux in only the master volume alters the amount of volume.
What sold it for me is how light it is and the quality of the sound without any fx.
It also has a built in kickstand under the cab so you can tilt the cab upwards. As soon as I gig with it I give a report on it ability to work in a band situation....
the price in the uk is $953.16 ...or £650 reduced from £804.. not cheap but then my back is worth it...
