I have toyed with selling this guitar for months and keep going back and forth because it IS an excellent guitar with no issues however, 3 pedal steels is just too many.
this guitar has 8 pedals and 7 knees
george L pickups
standard emmons setup on pedals & knees

I have the back neck set up with proper gauges and have it tuned to E6.
It sounds like a C6 but for you converted lead guitar players (like me) if you are on the 3rd fret, you are in G... thats at least a starting point.

Whats included;
Dekley D10
Dekley case
Dekley leg & rod bag

1850 plus shipping from Illinois

This is SUCH an appealing guitar. Whoever winds up this one will have something to be proud of.

This is a beauty! Any pics of the undercarriage, what do the two switches do and how much does it weigh in the case. Thanks, - DJ -

You guys are absolutley right - this guitar is an absolute joy to play. Soft pedals, firm stops on the knees.. stays in tune like a tank!!!

Not sure what it weighs in the case - take your emmons D10 and prolly add 5 to 10 lbs would be my best guess. When someone buys it, I will weight it so we can better figure the shipping. I am not gonna bring it upstairs until I have to!

The front toggle is 3 way - front neck, both necks, rear neck selection.
The back toggle is to activate the tone control knob (like on an emmons)
I believe all of these switchs and knobs and electronics (sans the George L pickups) are factory install.

Here is the picture of the undercarriage

One of the most underrated guitars ever made, a tremendous value on todays market, Dekley was one of Jeff Newmans favorite geetars...hard to argue with a player like Jeff ...

You are absolutely right Bob -
I have 2 emmons Legrande III guitars and this one plays, sounds and stays in tune every bit as well as either of them... I am very serious

I simply need to sell at 1 guitar to keep my spousal unit happy.
If this Dekley doesnt sell, you will see one of my LG3 SD10s for sale on this site.

The Dekley is a mondern design all pull changer - its a GREAT guitar.
also - if the purchaser wants the back neck back to C6 tuning, that would be as easy as putting on new C6 strings and re adjusting a couple of pulls. When I put on the E6 strings, I didnt have to move any parts around underneath - there was plenty of adjustment available with the tuning wrench.

Good morning Don,
my name is Gary Redmon and I am interested in your Dekley D-10.
I live in Lancaster CA.
If I can talk my CFO into letting me buy it, I will most certainly buy it.
I would like to have your telephone number if you don't mind. Talking voice to voice is better than e-mail anytime.
If I buy the guitar, please leave the tunning as you have it now. It sounds interesting.
You can contact me by e-mail or preferbly by telephone. Telephone # (661) 946-5780
E-Mail address is gary.redmon@pwr.utc.com.
I look forward to discussing this with you.
