a buddy here got that stand included w: his rondo steel
he found the stand to be of poor quality
it's heavy & the 3 point solder joints don't hold up |

when my buddy mentions heavy, he means the legs are not hollow tubes but full ones
the solder joints are where the legs are attached |

I got one of the last ones they had in stock at Rondo last year and one of the spot-welded nuts broke off (it was a bad weld). I had a friend weld on a fresh nut and spray paint the repaired portion black.
Other than that the stand is pretty rugged. It has arms which hold the Rondo SX very securely- I doubt if they would fit any other steel. If you have access to a welding machine I think that you could adapt it to fit other steels with adjustable arms like on the $89.97 Joe Morrell stands:

The Joe Morrell stand is decent enough but the height and length are dependent on each other. If you want it high then you don't have as much distance between the top of the neck and the lower bout. A steel with a long scale will not sit as high as a steel with a short scale. For what it is I am happy with it (I did adapt it to handle wider bouts getting some threaded rod and lock nuts at the hardware store).
