Here's a recording I made by myself, of a song you don't hear on steel too often. Michelle by the Beatles. I'd love your comments, good or bad. Hope you like it..

Ron, how did you know that this is my favorite Beatles tune??
All good remarks from me Ron, although I might seem blunt. Remember it is just my opinion and I try to be constructive. I can't play half this good myself.
I mean it in a nice way when I say that I hear the effects as too heavy, which to me serves to cover up the natural beauty of the steel sound. Also, I believe the backing track is just a tad too high in volume, compared to the steel.
I believe your playing is superb and a lot more can be done with this tune. Keep up your good work!

Bent and Tommy.
Thank you. Bent I agree with you and I'm glad it's your favorite. I'm kind of in a place with my recording equipment that limits me in a lot of ways. I went direct thru a tube preamp and then used the effects on my workstation. All this equipment is way out of date. Oh no! I sound like I'm making excuses.
The solo section was double tracked, which of course, the Fab 4 did on all lead vocals back then. I just wanted that part to sound a little different.
My next project is going to be "The Flame" by Cheap Trick. My favorite rock ballad. Ron

I thought it was perfect. Loved the original George Harrison solo included. A true classic Beatles tune played with taste. Many thanks RC
