Stu Basore with Kitty Wells?

There are several youtube versions of Kitty doing Honky Tonk Angels. One has a live band with her, and the steeler looks like Stu. Didn't he do a long run with Kitty?

Yeah that's Stu. The clip you linked to is taken from "Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar". I asked about this movie a few years ago and was told it could possibly be Stu Basore. I found out he was a forum member, I PM'ed him, and he responded confirming that it was him. The movie also features the late Howard white.

Stu's playing in this movie is just amazing! The first two songs with him backing 'Ole Tater are really good! I really like his get up! Very cool sound on that Fender,too.

He did tour with Kitty Wells for a period, but I don't know how long Very Happy
