Just wondering if anyone has compared a Black Widow Neo 1501-4 to an Eminence EPS 15, and if so, what do you think? Do they sound similar? Does one sound better than the other? I know there is a 4 or 5 pound weight difference. Hmmmmm |

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the comment but so far I think the
grinnin is the part that I'm best at.
Yes, I'm carrying around a cab made by Tommy
Huff, with a 15" Black Widow Neo speaker. The
cab with speaker weighs 25 lbs. My Gk MB200
[200 watt amp] weighs 2 lbs.
Take care, George |

I like my EPS-15 in Webb!
But, really, kevin, is it 8 lbs difference to B/W Neo?
You mean, "regular" B/w with ceramic magnet, no? |

I use B/W with neo in Marrs cabinet, I wonder which is lighter in weight. Anyone knows?
(Too lazy to uninstall B/W from cabinet to weigh- ) |

I replaced my BW 1502-4 that came in my 83 N400 with the new EPS15 and my N400 is exactly 10 pounds lighter with the new speaker. I also put one in my 72 Twin and although it is considerably lighter, the jury is still out on the tone. I may go back to my old K130. It's a nice solution for the N400 though. |
