I live in the Fort Worth area, and I play Guitar, and sing. I started playing for a living in 1973. I'm currently working with about six or seven "Traditional Country" bands in the area.

I have been working a day gig, and my job terminated Dec. 31st, so I will have more time to play (work) music. Besides the Saturday night gigs, (with whoever calls first) I'm working every Tuesday nite, the first and third Thursday nite every month, but now I'll have time to get some gigs on the other nights.

I say to people that "I've played all the BAD music I'm going to". Meaning, that I don't care to be miserable with a guitar in my hands, waiting for my unborn great grandson to graduate from Medical school, while I finish the gig.

Don't get me wrong, everyone needs to start somewhere, and I do not profess to be the BEST picker in the world, but I'd hate to go to work with a band that needs to rehearse "Silver Wings"!

Anyway, I'll be a little more available if something comes up in the area where I wouldn't embarass ya'll too much.
Thanks, Chuck
