I bought this with the intent of a winter project but realized I have too many things going on..Reese has confirmed serial # 200111 as a March 1970 guitar. Double 10 8&2 ...Rosewood mica with white trim and pick ups...This is playable as - is and has a great tone..The E- Raise lever has been taken off by another owner but all parts are included to put back on.No Case..Will include cover

Wow. That's a great price. Can't even get a used S10 for that.
David... This is just a curiosity question (others may have wondered too). What are the screws and holes on the keyhead endplate? I see there are some springs underneath at that end.

I am not sure what these are....Guitar is just like I recieved it....I only put on a new set of E9 strings and tuned it up.

This guitar would be fine to learn on, and with a few more knees, make a fine stage guitar.
A D-10 is certainly more axe than a student guitar, but there's really no such thing as "too much guitar" for a n00b. Sure, ten knees would be daunting, but beginning instruction materials are only gonna work three at most. |
