Im real sorry folks, maybe its a little premature to start the hoopla but I just could'nt wait any longer.
The adrenalin is starting to flow pretty good and everything is just about set for the BIG show starting January 13th thru the 15th at the Holiday Inn in Mesa Arizona.WOW,so many of you have responded that you are coming on down and let me tell you myself and the whole crew of folks at the SWSGA have been working hard to make it a GREAT show for everyone that attends this year. The line up is BIGGER and BETTER,the show room is double the seating of last year and we have that same great back up band as last year,yep-ee.
Oh yes, many new Vendors and builders will be on hand as well, you won't beleive it!
They will even be a Pro model S-10 raffled off as well as a King size quilt like last year,Man-0-Man!!
So please join me if you will in the excitment and count down to get this show up and started.Let us know here if your coming to the show and keep the hoopla goinggggggg

I had a great visit with Fred via telephone last night... what a gentleman. This is going to be a super super show that you do not want to miss! My regret is I can't get away to attend(thanks for invite to play...next year for sure). Fred and the SWSGA team are doing everything possible to make it not only a fantastic musical event but a wonderful time of meeting old and new friends. Looking forward to hearing all the fun stories from friends who will be attending.

Fred, I am so excited about the show I'm arriving a day early! Look forward to seeing all of you. I am bringing a player from San Diego that has never been to a show, so it should be fun watching him absorb everything...rj

Really? You couldn't get my Bubby to come out to a steel show; she's too busy makin' chicken soup! Maybe that "van load" is full of knishes??

Fred,

I'm going to try and make it. Will be in the studio, but I think we can finish up Friday night and drive up Saturday and get there late morning. Will bring a buddy from San Diego with me, that's a blues picker. I have been introducing him to the world of country music and he cut his first album in Nashville this past September.

Been waiting for months, now the days seem like months!

A bit of good news this morning, while talking to Bobby Rains on the phone he said he was going to be picking up a hitch hiker on his way to our show next week.
Mr.Curtis Potter will be coming over with Bobby, maybe we'll get to hear Curtis do some of that good singing at the show.
