Made my reservations at the Harvey Hotel this morning. My wife is excited about being able to go. (We'll be there for her birthday, March 5th) I hope to meet some of y'all in person in Dallas and have some fun, eat good and hear some of the best music in the world. I would love to get some pointers and maybe jam a little. Who else is going to be there?

If you fly into Dallas how do you get to the Harvey hotel. Is there a shuttle bus?

Yes, many of the flight crews stay at the Harvey.....and when you land at DFW the airplane will just barely miss the top floor of the Harvey!

Hey - looks like I may be in Dallas (actually, Plano) next week for a few days. Anyone in that area care to meet up?

Ian, from London.

I'll be there with a table outside the hall pushing gospel steel stuff. Come by and introduce yourself.

On the way out of the airport you come across a wall of hotel connected phones. Dial the Harvey and they will tell you where to wait and send the shuttle bus. The Harvey is only a couple of minutes away.

Allan

I too can't wait.

See you there

Mike

Thanks Mike and Gene. I want to fly in on Saturday. What time will the playing start? I'll be getting an early morning flight from Chattanooga. Brian

Brian, the picking usually starts around 10 am on Saturday and runs till midnight. Then Tom Morrell and the Time Warp Tophands do a dance until around 2 am Sunday. Picking resumes on Sunday am at 9 for church and goes until 5 0r 6 pm. This year Sunday afternoon will feature a tribute to Bob Wills.
