I am getting that screaching pop from a couple of my pots, mainly shift and bass knobs. I have heard the pots can be cleaned. Is there a particular method. I am asking cause I am a technician and dont want to spend money if I dont have to. Can someone give me some good proven methods. No shade tree stuff. Thanks

Dwight

The cheapest way is to turn off the amp when you twist those pots.
