Hey Ed, I have phase switches on two of my Teles which are activated differently. My main Tele has a pull pot for the volume control which when I pull out on it the phase switch will activate. The other one has a small mini switch between the volume and tone control. Cosmetically the pull pot is better but I prefer the mini switch, I wish it was on my main guitar........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Ed,Of course I don't know just what your Tele is as far as market value is concerned, but remember adding that switch makes it no longer 100% original. If that's a concern you can buy another control plate and save the original..You can even get a blank plate and drill to your needs..
Another thing to consider is a 4 way switch for series switching..Most Tele players find this more useful than the phase switch.. |

Papa Joe, it's just one I put together with bits and peices I got here and there. Most of it is MIM parts, but it has great action and sounds decent. I might just stick the switch on the pick guard somewhere.
