Hi All, I played a showcase gig at the Ohio Fairs Convention on the 4th. All of our equipment was sent on ahead in a trailor. The trailor was burglorized on the evening of the 3rd. The lock on the side door was picked with a bolt cutter and as chance would have it my rack was one of the first handles in front of them. The cops have fingerprints and will "keep an eye out " for the equipment. Would like to ask that all of you in the Columbus area keep an eye out also. My rack is a 4 space SKB with a DPC-1000, Profex II, DTR-1, blank screen. I have installed speaker connectors and an AC connector on the side. An extention cord is velcroed into the bottom lid and a Peavey emblem is rivited onto the top lid. I won't post them but I have serial numbers and sales slips here at the house. If any of you run across it let me know. I'm probably going to have to eat this. I have insurance but it only covered the stuff at the house or in my vehicles. I have a backup rig but it's older and I'd hate to hit the road with it. I guess I'm fortunate in that this is a first in over 23 years in the music business. Thanks a lot.

Hey Whip----the Ohio Guitar Show is this Sunday so if anyone has extra eyes and they're attending this might be a good place to begin looking! If you have serial numbers or other distinctive markings you might post them so we can ID your gear if it's there.
Still love your playing----keep up that good work!

Whip, I would not post the serial numbers just in case someone would be reading your post. You have given enough info that it should be able to be identified. There aren't that many around who have the equipment you have described. It would be my humble opinion that it will probably show up at a pawn shop or on E-bay. |

Whip, Isn't the trailor a "vehicle"?
My things were always covered in the trailor by the auto insurance and also if you had listed items on your homeowners it should be covered by that. Fred |

Whip, this is awful. Man, I hope they find the so and so's that took your stuff. I've been very fortunate to not have had but just a few small things to get stolen. Good Luck finding your stuff.

Thanks a lot guys. I agree about posting the sn's. Just look for the Peavey logo on the lid. Can't be to many SKB cases with Peavey logo's on them. Also, I have the speaker and AC connectors mounted on the side. This certainly makes it very conspicuous. I also have a switch mouted in the screen. It turns the ProFex on and off. If you see all this I'm layin odds it's mine. I appreciate any help you all can give. Maybe announce it at the show on sunday! Thanks so much.
I'm definitly checking it out with my insuance company. I'm holding off till I get together with Pete, my boss. He asked me to wait. I think maybe he may be considering doing something for me. He is just the kind of guy to do that. We'll see!!! I'll let you all know what happens. Thanks again.
By the way Bob, I did another studio gig with the p/p, man do I love that guitar!!!! Everytime I play in a studio and go up to the booth I can't believe it's me playing. I swear that guitar has a life of it's own!! Thanks again for parting with it.
